Braitling Primary School: To learn. To Share. To lead.
Braitling Primary School’s vision is to be a centre of excellence for our community of learners. Our school is in the northern part of Alice Springs in the suburb of Braitling. The primary school was established on Head Street in 1977 when it was opened by Senator Bernie Kilgariff and Mrs Doreen Braitling. The school caters for students from Transition (five year olds) to Year 6. Braitling’s Preschool, Teppa Hill was established earlier than the primary school in Kekwick Avenue one kilometre from the school and caters for our youngest students. (4 years old)
Our students, staff and parents engage in an innovative curriculum that focuses on learning, sharing and leading. Braitling’s programs cater for individual student needs and the exciting extracurricular activities add depth to the learning program. Braitling’s education program is multidimensional focusing on the development of academic, physical, emotional and social skills within a framework of strong shared values and a commitment to preparing students to contribute positively as citizens of the world.
Braitling Primary School recognises the need for strong partnerships with families and the broader community. The school continually seeks to deepen and expand these relationships in order to provide the best possible learning platform for the primary aged students of the 21st century. We welcome you and your family and encourage you to take your place in this optimistic and joyful school.
