Winners of the awards receive recognition for their contribution to delivering high quality teaching and education services.  Leonie was awarded the Principal of the Year Award, Palmerston and Rural Region.

As quoted from the Presentation: ‘Leonie, as the Principal of Top End Group School, shows passion and professionalism through her work. Leonie is always seeking ways to make education more accessible to students, especially those living in remote settings.’

 TEGS Turns 10

In 2010 TEGS began celebrating their tenth birthday.  Celebrations took place in many forms and different locations starting from the end of the 2010 Adelaide River Festival and culminating with an enormous birthday cake at the 2011 one.  Over those 10 years TEGS has had many highlights and challenges.  Some staff have been there from the very beginning and remain with us to this day.  Others have come and gone, some have even returned.
