Partnerships and Pathways

The School values its partnerships with parents and carers, the local Primary Schools, with Charles Darwin University, local training organisations, charities, NGOs and businesses.

The School Council is actively engaged in many areas of school improvement. Parents are engaged through Parent Teacher Meet & Greet evenings, Parent Teacher interviews, school newsletters and through less formal mechanisms. Teachers make regular contact with parents to give good news, to discuss teaching and learning and behaviour. Katherine High School runs a 12 month transition program for Year 6-7 Primary School students with four key phases: Familiarising, Arriving, Thriving and Striving.

If you are interested in entering into a partnership with Katherine High School please contact us at admin.kathehs@ntschools.net
