Sun Care

We live in a climate where the sun is very intense so please make sure your children 'cover up' for protection.

Teachers are encouraged not to have students participating in outdoor physical activities during the times of highest skin cancer risk, e.g. 11:00 am to 3:00pm and to ensure students drink plenty of water during physical activity. All students and teachers must wear a hat when outdoors.

Hats

The School Council supports a Sun Cancer Prevention policy and consequently has decided to make the wearing of hats outside compulsory. Students without hats will be asked to move to the covered area.
