Computers
Learning Technology involves the application of all that we know about human learning to develop strategies (pedagogy) and use tools (computers) to enhance learning.
The emphasis at Anula School is for computers to be used as a learning tool. Every class has access to computers to be used to complement learning across the curriculum.
The school has several laptop laboratories that can be transported from one classroom to another. There are enough for a whole class to be working on a laptop to complete individual or group projects.
The software programs available within the school facilitate skill development and motivate student learning, e.g., problem solving, word processing, graphics, databases etc.
Internet and email is available for all teachers and students. Students are encouraged to use the Internet under teacher supervision for research purposes. Students must also agree to abide by a number of rules related to responsible Internet use. The student and parent/guardian will be expected to sign a Contract detailing these rules.
